My Tour of Anita Goodesign

I had the wonderful opportunity to tour the facilities of Anita Goodesign today with my friend Charla. Oh my goodness yawl, what a well-oiled machine they are. We were absolutely blown away when we first entered the main building. Butterflies are the cool kids on the block at Anita Goodesign right now…there were beautiful butterflies everywhere. You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know…

When I first started in the sewing industry, I knew absolutely nothing about sewing. I knew I wanted to learn to sew, but had no true idea what a sewing machine was capable of. Couching

Have you heard of couching? Yall, you should try it because it is sew much fun! Couching is when you lay yarn or other materials across the surface of a base fabric and secure it with straight, zig-zag, or decorative stitching. This instantly creates a unique look and texture and also adds depth, dimension, and drama. You can do couching on a domestic sewing machine, embroidery machine, or long-arm quilting machine.
